From the very beginning, Robert Corl’s life has been shaped by a commitment to service and a passion for justice. Born with a keen sense of empathy, Rob was inspired early on by his experiences on his high school mock trial team, where he discovered the power of advocacy and the importance of the legal system in shaping lives. For two years, he immersed himself in the art of argumentation and strategy, laying the foundation for a career that would be defined by dedication to his clients and the pursuit of fairness.
After high school, Rob chose a path of service, joining the army as a mechanic. For three years, he worked tirelessly, honing his skills and developing a strong work ethic that would later become the cornerstone of his legal career. His time in the military also instilled in him a deep respect for discipline and precision, qualities that would prove invaluable in the courtroom.
With a desire to continue serving others, Rob pursued a legal education at Temple University’s James E. Beasley School of Law in Philadelphia. There, he refined his understanding of the law and deepened his commitment to helping those in need. His legal journey began in earnest at Amtrak, where he worked for a decade from 2006 to 2016, navigating complex cases and gaining valuable experience that would shape his future practice.
But Rob’s true calling emerged in the field of family law, particularly in custody cases. Understanding the emotional turmoil that families face during such difficult times, Rob approached each case with the respect and compassion it deserved. His clients quickly came to know him not just as their lawyer, but as a steadfast advocate who truly cared about their well-being.
In 2017, Rob took his talents to the Coronado Law Firm, and later in 2018, to the McCarthy Law Firm, where he continued to build his reputation as a skilled and compassionate attorney. That same year, he took a bold step and founded the Corl Law Firm, where he could fully dedicate himself to his passion for family law. Here, Rob found deep fulfillment in helping clients navigate some of the most challenging periods of their lives, always with the belief that everyone deserves a fair chance at justice.
Outside the courtroom, Rob’s life is filled with adventure and service. He enjoys the freedom and thrill of motorcycle riding and horseback riding, activities that offer a perfect counterbalance to the intensity of his legal work. But his commitment to others doesn’t stop at the office door. Rob has a long history of volunteering, including his work with a pro bono program in Washington, D.C., where he provided legal services to those who might otherwise have been left without representation.
With over 20 years of experience, Rob Corl stands as a testament to the impact that a lawyer can have when driven by a genuine desire to help others. His journey from a high school mock trial participant to a respected attorney has been marked by service, compassion, and an unwavering commitment to justice.
