Matt earned his B.A. in Political Theory and Constitutional Democracy from Michigan State University’s James Madison College, with a Minor in Spanish and Business. He went on to receive his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Michigan State University College of Law, and holds a Certificate in Domestic Relations Mediation.
Before joining Genesis Legal Group, Matt handled a wide range of legal matters including family law, probate, criminal defense, and No-Fault litigation. His extensive courtroom experience, coupled with his empathetic approach, has allowed him to skillfully guide clients through the often difficult emotional and legal complexities of family law.
Outside of the office, Matt values time with his wife, two daughters, and their two chocolate labs. His grounded perspective and commitment to family translate directly into the compassionate and effective representation he provides.
